A wild incident leads to an arrest in Shreveport!

Shreveport Police were called to a Bert Kouns mobile home park to reports of a fight. When police arrived to the scene, they heard a man loudly yelling outside of the mobile home they were called to.

The suspect was identified as Clayton Cobb. Cobb's alleged victim spoke with Police in detail about the confrontation saying Cobb was not supposed to be at the mobile home park in the first place due to an active order of protection against him. The victim said Cobb tried to force his way in to his mobile home, and when he tried to stop him, the fight stumbled in to the yard where the victim says he was struck in the head.

Following the fight, Cobb allegedly got in his car and tried to run-over the victim. Cobb then left the vehicle, grabbed a potted plant, and threw it through the window of the mobile home.

After hearing the details of this wild assault, SPD had enough evidence to put Cobb behind bars.

Clayton Cobb has been charged with the following:

· Simple Battery

· Aggravated Assault with a Weapon

· Violation of a Protection Order

From SPD:

"The Shreveport Police Department continues to prioritize quick responses to disturbances to ensure the safety of the community."
