In a story first reported by the Louisiana Radio Network, we learn that Johnson was actually already in custody by Baton Rouge Police after being arrested following a chase involving a stolen vehicle, when it was discovered he was suspected of the vicious stabbing death of 34 year old Janice David.

Baton Rouge Police Sergeant L’Jean McKneely said that someone who witnessed the savage streaming of the cold-blooded murder, contacted Facebook, who in turn, reached out to authorities in Louisiana.

According to McKneely, “We do believe they had been at least on a three-to-four-day drug-binge together From there during the course of those events at the end of it he choked her, he beat her, and he stabbed her.”

After the victim's lifeless body was discovered in a vehicle by the East Baton Rouge Sheriff’s deputies, they informed Baton Rouge Police about the murder in the Sherwood Forest area.

Sgt. McKneely said, “We launched our investigation; had a recording of the video; already had him in custody; we interviewed him; he admitted to committing the killing.”
