Neighborhood meetings have been scheduled to discuss upcoming sewer work in Shreveport.

The city has an agreement with the Department of Justice and the Environmental Protection Agency to do the repair and replacement work beginning in the near future. According to a news release, the work will continue throughout the city over the next several years, until the system has been completely overhauled.

Work is primarily being done in Cedar Grove. Here are the upcoming neighborhood meeting dates and locations:

Tuesday, March 29 from 5:30-6:30 p.m.
Cedar Grove Library - 8303 Line Ave.

Monday, April 4th at 6:30 p.m.
St. Luke Missionary Baptist Church - 2850 Aline Ave.

Thursday, April 14th at 10:30 a.m.
Caddo Community Action Agency - 1625 David Raines Rd.

Thursday, April 14 at 6:00 p.m.
Fairfield Historic District Association - 1045 Dalzell St.

Thursday, May 26th from 6:30-7:30 p.m.
North Highlands United Methodist Church ­- 835 Poleman Rd.
