Emergency Response Exercise Being Held This Week

A big exercise is coming up this week. Overton Brooks VA Medical Center is participating in a National Level Exercise to test its Federal Coordinating Center capabilities. The exercise will involve other local hospitals, fire departments and emergency responders -- and will provide planning, training and coordination among agencies to better serve citizens during emergency evacuations. It's all going on Thursday at the Shreveport Airport Authority from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.
