You name it, and Edwin Edwards probably touched upon it during a book-signing appearance last night at Superiors Steak House. The four-term Louisiana governor reminded his audience that, even though he's just served ten years in federal prison, he's still quite popular. Edwards says he received over 35-thousand pieces of mail from well-wishers while he was locked up. As a convicted felon, Edwards cannot run for political office again without a Presidential pardon. But, if he could, would he run for a fifth term? Edwards says he probably would -- and predicts that he would probably win, too.
