A drug deal turned sour has led to three arrests -- and two of those three are nursing gunshot wounds.  Police say it all went down around 9:15 this morning in the 38-hundred block of Michigan.  When officers got there, the parties involved had all left.  But officers spotted a car matching the description of one seen leaving the scene a short time later near Jewella and I-20 and stopped it.  Inside, they found 27-year-old Darnell Smith, who'd been shot in the buttocks.  He's now being treated at LSU Health.  The driver, 56-year-old Jerry Godbey was taken in for questioning.  Meantime, 22-year-old Jawuan Dotie apparently drove himself to Willis Knighton for treatment of a gunshot wound to the arm.  Godbey has now been booked for drug possession and possessing a gun during a crime.  Smith faces one count of attempted second-degree murder when he's released from the hospital, and Dotie's been booked on one count of attempted first-degree murder.
