CPSO was on the way to a car wreck on I-49 near North Market on Friday, but by the time they got there one of the cars had taken off. Deputies went North on I-49 looking for a tan Camry, and found the car driving a short ways up the Interstate. When Deputies flashed their lights to get him to pull over the driver smashed the passenger window and started throwing stuff from the car!

Caddo Deputies stayed on his tail and were finally able to get the car to pull over. CPSO pulled 44 year-old Jimmy Weldon Scott out of the car and detained him. Deputies went back to the area where they saw Scott throw stuff out of the window and found baggies of possible meth. After weighing it up, Scott had over 25 grams of meth.

Scott was charged with hit-and-run and manufacturing and distribution of meth.
