SHREVEPORT, LA- Shreveport Police Department Identifies Suspect in April 19 Shooting Incident
The Shreveport Police Department's Violent Crimes Unit has identified a suspect wanted in connection with a shooting incident that took place on April 19th in the 100 block of Ute Trail.
Responding officers found a male victim at the scene suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. The victim was promptly transported to a local area hospital with life-threatening injuries but thankfully survived.
After a thorough investigation, detectives from the Shreveport Police Department's Violent Crimes Unit have issued a warrant for the arrest of Derrick Morris, a 42-year-old male, on one count of attempted second-degree murder.
Morris should be considered armed and dangerous.
