MONROE, La. (AP) — Sheriff's deputies say a teacher at a private school was arrested on suspicion of calling in a bomb threat at three private schools in Ouachita Parish.

The News-Star reports that David Reyna, a 30-year-old Spanish language teacher at River Oaks School, was booked into the Ouachita Correctional Center on Friday after he was arrested by sheriff's office investigators.

He's being held without bond pending a court hearing. He was charged with a count of communicating false information of a planned bombing of school property.

Prosecutors say Reyna poses a danger to the community, "especially the schools and school system," and poses a potential flight risk.

River Oaks School Headmaster Tom Middleton said Reyna was a quiet man on campus, giving no indication of a troubled life.
