SHREVEPORT, LA-   Dallas woman arrested for Human Trafficking of a juvenile

The Shreveport Police Department's Vice Units have apprehended Zakayla Davis, a 24-year-old resident of Dallas, Texas, on charges of human trafficking and pandering. The arrest follows an investigation conducted by the dedicated officers of the Vice Unit.

In the early morning of March 7, 2024, Vice Agents contacted Zakayla Davis in the 800 block of Clyde Fant Memorial Parkway. Upon further investigation, it was discovered that Davis was transporting a 16-year-old victim, suspected of being sexually trafficked.

Zakayla Davis has been charged with one count of human trafficking and one count of pandering.

The Shreveport Police Department encourages anyone with information regarding human trafficking or suspicious activity to come forward and report it immediately. Together, we can work towards eradicating this from our communities and ensuring the safety and well-being of all individuals.

Suspects are innocent until proven guilty.
