Convicted Felon With Firearm Arrested by Shreveport Police
On May 2nd, 2023, Shreveport Police Patrol officers responded to Line Avenue and Southfield Road in reference to a welfare concern. A concerned citizen advised that a black male was outside of a vehicle at this location screaming at a female that was inside of a silver car.
Officers arrived and contacted Hajerrian Adams (9-1-98) who was determined to be the cause of the disturbance. Adams was found to be armed with a firearm.
Further investigation into the matter revealed that Adams was prohibited from possessing a firearm due to being a convicted felon for prior felony offenses.
The firearm was seized by the offices and Adams was arrested for one count of being a convicted felon in possession of a firearm and also found to have an outstanding warrant from another jurisdiction.
