Centenary College Hosts National Collegiate Gymnastics Championships

Shreveport's Centenary College is playing host this weekend to the USA Gymnastics National Collegiate Championships in the Gold Dome.  

Eight schools from across the country have teams entered in the competition while five more have individuals competing. This event concludes the 2013 competition for Centenary's team.

Two sessions were held today. There will be another session at 7 p.m. tomorrow and the event will conclude with a 1 p.m. session Sunday. Tickets are available at the Gold Dome door or online.

A highlight of the weekend will be a return visit to the Gold Dome by Centenary Hall of Famer ('81) and Olympic gymnast Kathy Johnson Clarke, who will be on hand for the festivities.
