Sentenced to Nearly a Decade in Caddo Court for Sexual Battery

A Keithville man has been sentenced in Caddo Court after being convicted of having sexual contact with a teen girl.

43 year-old Brandon McDuffy was convicted of sexual battery of a 17 year-old girl that happened back in 2018. McDuffy returned to court yesterday, and was sentenced to nine years and six months in prison, hard labor. additionally McDuffy was also ordered to register as a sex offender for 15 years when he is released.

According to court documents, the 17 year-old girl moved in with McDuffy in 2018. McDuffy had the girl sleep in his bed with him. After a while of this, he began fondling the teenager while in bed without her consent. According to the teen, this abuse continued until she moved out of the home.

From the Caddo DA:

"McDuffy was prosecuted by Assistant District Attorneys Fernando Grider and Senae D. Hall. He was defended by Royal Alexander and Dave Knadler."
