Blanchard Schools Go Virtual Amid Ongoing Water Issues
Water woes continue to cause problems in northwest Louisiana. Caddo school officials say today will be a day of virtual learning for schools in the Blanchard area.
Town officials with the Blanchard Water System have reported encouraging progress; however, they cannot guarantee that water flow and pressure will be maintained throughout the school day on Wednesday.
Here Is the State Released by Caddo Schools:
"Out of an abundance of caution, and due to concerns regarding health and sanitary conditions should water pressure drop during school hours, five campuses will move to virtual instruction on Wednesday."

What Does this Mean for Students?
Teachers will be communicating directly with families about the school day and the expectations and assignments. This interaction will be done through the school’s normal communication channels. High school students should log in to Canvas for any activities to be completed.
The district will continue to monitor conditions closely and work with local officials. Additional updates will be shared as information becomes available.
