Just after school let out Tuesday, a bus that had just left Southwood High School was involved in an accident on Walker Road, near Cedar Creek Drive.

Fire Department Spokesman Scott Wolverton tells KEEL News 40 students were on bus #72 at the time of the crash.  All but four students were loaded onto another bus and taken to home.  The four that weren't were taken to Willis-Knighton South for treatment of injuries sustained when a fellow student, driving a Toyota Celica, pulled out in front of the bus.

The bus driver was unable to avoid the collision and was not ticketed.  The crash appears to be the fault of the student driving the Toyota.

All four students were treated and released from the hospital with whats described as minor injuries.
