Caddo Sheriff’s Office Warning Homeowners of a Repair Scam

The Caddo Parish Sheriff's Office is alerting residents in the Dixie Gardens area about a man going door-to-door soliciting money for home repairs.

CPSO says the man will come to your door bringing a potential repair to the homeowner's attention before asking for money up-front for supplies. When the homeowner gives the man their money, he fails to return.

The man has scammed several people in the Dixie Gardens area with this sneaky trick and has amassed over $2,900.

Photos of the suspect have been circulating online and CPSO is on the hunt for him.
