Caddo Parish Sheriff’s Office to Hold Livestock Auction
The Caddo Parish Sheriff's Office will be holding a silent auction for loose livestock that has been impounded by the Sheriff’s Livestock Patrol. The auction will feature three horses: a mare, one gelding, and a stud. The owners of the horses could not be located.
These horses were acquired by CPSO after finding them running free. The owners of found livestock are given a certain amount of time to claim said livestock before they are put up for auction. Much like impounded vehicle auctions, the proceeds will go to CPSO funding.
The auction is scheduled to commence on Monday, August 5, and conclude on Thursday, August 8. Bids can be submitted in person between 8 a.m. and 3 p.m. at the Patrol Office located at 4910 North Market Street, Shreveport.
