Caddo Man Arrested for Guns and Drugs After Making Threats
The Caddo Parish Sheriff's Office has made an arrest for guns and drugs after a man allegedly threatened his girlfriend and her family.
Last week a woman called the Sheriff's Office and reported that her boyfriend threatened her and her family. Deputies spoke to the woman in person to get all the details, and the woman told Deputies that her boyfriend may also be in possession of drugs.
Caddo Deputies made contact with 38 year-old Anthony Kidder at his home on Deer Trail in Caddo Parish. After a short investigation, Deputies found marijuana on Kidder. They looked inside of his home and could see more marijuana in plain sight. This was enough to get a search warrant for the home.
While executing the warrant, Deputies found a sauna that was being used to dry freshly grown marijuana. Several marijuana plants were also found drying in a box, over a dozen mason jars filled with marijuana, and multiple plastic bags containing suspected marijuana.
From CPSO:
"Anthony Kidder was transported to the Caddo Correctional Center and booked on charges of manufacturing and distributing marijuana, cultivating marijuana, possession of a firearm by a felon, possession of a firearm with controlled dangerous substances, and illegal use of controlled dangerous substances in the presence of a minor."
