On Saturday, Patrol Deputies were called to Kim Street to reports of a disturbance. When CPSO got to the scene, the victim claimed she had been chased by her boyfriend, 58 year-old Lawrence Pickett, who also used two handguns to threaten her.

Following an investigation, Deputies were able to submit a search warrant for Pickett's home. Within minutes of it's submission, a Judge signed the warrant.

Deputies executed the warrant on Pickett's Kim Street home and were able to find two guns along with ammunition.

From CPSO:

"This case was made possible thanks to the prompt assistance of the Caddo District Attorney’s Office.

The Caddo Sheriff’s Patrol Division remains committed to its strategic objective of pursuing violent felons and illegal firearms."
