Indecent Behavior With Juveniles Leads to Arrest of Caddo Deputy

Caddo Sheriff's Special Victims Unit have arrested a former Caddo Parish Sheriff's Deputy for sexual crimes involving a juvenile.

Yesterday, the Special Victims Unit were informed by a concerned citizen regarding Deputy 38 year-old Alvin Slay, having inappropriate relations with a minor.

After an investigation into the allegations, investigators established sufficient probable cause to arrest Slay on three counts of indecent behavior with juveniles.

Following his arrest, Slay was taken to the Caddo Correctional Center, where he was booked on the aforementioned charges. Slay had been employed since March 2011.

"Anyone with information about this case or any incidents involving Alvin Slay is encouraged to contact the investigation division at 318-675-2170 or to leave an anonymous tip with Caddo/Shreveport Crime Stoppers at 318-673-7373."
