Caddo Coroner Names Woman Killed in Highland Shooting

Shreveport Police are investigating the year's 44th homicide in the city. Officers found a Shreveport woman shot and killed in the Highland neighborhood in the overnight hours of Sunday, November 17, 2024.

The victim has been identified as 29-year-old Kali Lynch-Roberts by the Caddo Parish Coroner's office.

The victim was shot inside a home in the 100 block of East Herndon Street, just before 1am.

The Shreveport Police Department is actively investigating the shooting.

According to the Caddo Parish Coroner's Office, this death marks the 47th homicide of 2024 in Caddo Parish. The homicide is also the 44th inside the city of Shreveport for 2024.

As a part of the ongoing investigation, an autopsy has been ordered.
