Caddo Deputies Arrest Shreveport Man for Child Pornography

A Shreveport man has been arrested for possession and distribution of child pornography.

Back in August the Caddo Parish Sheriff's Office Special Victims Unit got information from the Louisiana Attorney General's Office regarding the distribution of suspected child sexual abuse material coming out of Caddo Parish.

CPSO started an investigation, and were able to identify 21 year-old Cooper Johnson of the 4800 Block of Youree Drive as the person responsible for possessing and distributing child sexual abuse material to people online.

After a Judge signed a search warrant for Johnson's home, CPSO executed the search earlier this week.

Following their investigation, Johnson was arrested and taken to the Caddo Correctional Center, where he was booked on ten counts of possessing pornography involving juveniles.

Additional charges are expected to follow pending the forensic analysis of digital evidence seized during the search.
