The Bossier Sheriff Office is seeking the public’s help in locating a Benton man wanted for felony theft for stealing from his former employer.

Detectives say 28-year-old Matthew Brian Hall is wanted for Felony Identity Theft, Felony Theft, Felony Unauthorized Use of Motor Vehicle, Felony Unauthorized Use of a Movable and Misdemeanor Theft. Hall used to work for Gator Farms in Plain Dealing.

Hall allegedly accepted $900 in delivery fees for himself, instead of for the company, after taking cows and selling them at auction to locations in Louisiana and Mississippi in the company truck and trailer. He also used the company truck and trailer of his former employer without their permission after he was terminated, and he used the company credit card over the summer to pay for $2,000 in personal expenses.

Hall is a white male, 5’ 8”, 140 pounds with blue eyes and brown hair. He was known to be in the Benton area as recently as Monday, but believed to have fled to a relative's house in Springhill.

Anyone with information that can lead to Hall's arrest is asked to call Bossier Crime Stoppers at (318) 424-4100. You can also submit a tip via the Bossier Crime Stoppers website. People who contact Crime Stoppers are reminded they may remain totally anonymous.
