Brace For The Heat!!

Today's heat could be record breaking. Health experts urge you to take precautions if you work outdoors: drink lots of water and take breaks especially during the heat of the day.

The record high for this day is 100 set not too long ago...it was back in 1998. The Weather Channel guys say we could get up up 101 this afternoon which would break that record. On Sunday, our temperature reached 99, just one degree shy of the record set in 1881. On Saturday, we had another hot one. The temp climbed to 99. The record for June 11th is 101 and that was set back in 1911.
