Bossier Police Charge Woman for Kicking a Toddler Out a Window
Bossier City Police issued an arrest warrant for a woman on a charge of attempted second-degree murder after allegedly injuring a 4 year-old child.
Earlier this month, the child was taken to Ochsner Medical Center with fractures to both wrists and forearms. Initial reports claimed the child had fallen from a second-story window at the Mirage Apartments on East Texas Street.
After conducting multiple interviews, investigators determined that 37 year- old Sharonica Davis allegedly caused the injuries by kicking the child out of the window.
Davis was later interviewed at the Caddo Correctional Facility, where she is already being held on other charges.
The child has since received medical treatment and was released under the care of the Department of Children and Family Services.
