Earlier reports had Sevin-Chauvin listed on the Airline High School website, but he seems to have been scrubbed from the staff pages.  Sevin-Chauvin was taken into custody on Thursday, April 18th, and booked into Bossier Parish Maximum Security facility.  He is currently being held on a $150,000 bond.

Bossier Sheriff officials confirmed that Sevin-Chauvin was taken into custody, but more details have not yet been made public.

The Bossier Parish School Board released the following statement concerning Sevin-Chauvin's arrest:

We are greatly disturbed by the nature of the charges brought against this former educator and are cooperating with law enforcement to the fullest extent.  It is important to note at this time investigators do not believe students were involved in or actually witnessed any of the inappropriate behavior he is accused of committing.  Bossier Schools has a zero-tolerance policy when it comes to inappropriate behavior  in the presence of juveniles and this former educator is no longer working in our school system.
