Man and Woman Found Dead in Bossier from Apparent Murder-Suicide
A tragic discovery in Bossier City when Police found a man and woman shot in a stopped vehicle.
Bossier City Police received information about a 911 hang-up call yesterday (5/8/24) evening around 9:20pm. 911 was able to pinpoint the location of the hang-up to the Scenic Overlook area of the Parkway near the Brookshire's Grocery Arena. Upon arrival, Bossier Police found a vehicle stopped and discovered a 28 year-old woman, and 24 year-old male suffering from gunshot wounds inside of the vehicle.
The woman was pronounced dead at the scene. The male was transported to the hospital suffering from a life-threatening gunshot wound to the head. Despite the best efforts of medical personnel the 24 year-old man has since died in the hospital from his injuries.
Louis Johnson with the Bossier City Police has confirmed that after heavy investigations that this tragic incident appears to be a murder-suicide. Johnson also confirmed that the two may have been in a relationship.
The names of the man and woman have yet to be released pending notification of the deceased's family. No confirmation if the deceased were from Bossier City.
