
Bossier Man Arrested with 2,364 Images of Child Pornography
BOSSIER PARISH, LA- BOSSIER MAN ARRESTED FOR POSSESSION OF CHILD PORNOGRAPHY
An investigation by the Internet Crimes Against Children division led to an arrest of a Bossier man by the Bossier Parish Sheriff's Office detectives in the 400 block of Glen Street in Bossier City.

Detectives performed a forensic download of electronic devices on scene resulting in the recovery of 2,364 images and videos of child sexual assault. The suspected contraband was sent to NCMEC, (National Center for MIssing and Exploited Children) where a total of 822 victims were identified.
Detectives obtained a warrant for Johnny E. Gilstrap Jr., who was arrested on Monday, January 13th, 2025, for 2,364 counts of Possession of Child Sexual Abuse Material. Gilstrap was booked into the Bossier Parish Maximum Facilty with a $500,000.00 bond.
Detectives with the Bossier Sheriff's Office continue to aggressively investigate cases of child sexual abuse in conjunction with the Louisiana Attorney General's Office, and teams from ICAC and NCMEC.
