The Caddo Parish Sheriff’s Office Youth Services Detectives arrested a Bossier resident for sexually assaulting two juveniles.

Roderick Johnson, 46, a horse-riding instructor, was suspected of assaulting two of his underage female students. During their investigation, detectives conducted a digital forensic examination of the victim’s cell phones. The victims were also interviewed by the staff at the Gingerbread House.

During his interview with detectives, Johnson confessed to sexually assaulting one of the victims. Detectives arrested Johnson at the Sheriff’s Criminal Detectives Office, 1501 Corporate Drive, Shreveport, and charged him with one count of Felony Carnal Knowledge of a Juvenile and one count of Sexual Battery. He was booked into the Caddo Correctional Center.

More charges are pending as this is an ongoing investigation. Caddo Parish Sheriff’s Office detectives continue to aggressively investigate child sexual abuse cases with the Internet Crimes Against Children (ICAC) team, the Attorney General’s Office, and with the aid of the latest technology.
