Bossier Police Searching for Kroger Gift-Card Thief
On 11/13/2022 a white male entered Kroger at 1051 George Dement Blvd. Suspect was wearing a black jacket and blue jeans. Suspect presented $1500.00 in gift cards to the cashier. Suspect then counted out $1500.00 and placed them in three stacks of $500.00. While the cashier was counting the money the suspect presented a $100.00 bill to the cashier and asked for change.
The suspect then picked up the $1500.00 and acted like he was counting the money again. Security camera shows the suspect palming $1000.00 and presenting $500.00 to the cashier. Security camera shows the suspect then placing the palmed $1000.00 in pocket and taking the gift cards from the cashier. The suspect paid $500.00 for $1500.00 worth of gift cards causing Kroger to suffer a financial loss.
