The Texarkana, Texas, event happened this morning. Tomorrow, it's Bossier City's turn! Bossier City Police Local 645 and the Bossier Chapter of the Fraternal ORder of Police Lodge #39 are taking about 75 underprivileged children on a Christmas shopping spree. It's part of their annual "Shop with a Cop" program -- and it's going on tomorrow morning at the Wal-Mart Super Center on Airline Drive. The kids, chosen from Bossier City elementary schools, will shop for Christmas gifts with funds raised locally by the two groups. This is the first time the two organizations have partnered for the program...in the past, they've held separate programs. And a larger number of children are participating this year. The kids will start their shopping at 10 tomorrow morning.
