Bossier City Firefighters Holding Lunch Fundraiser for 9-Year-Old Cancer Patient

Bossier City firefighters will be serving up lunch to help a little girl who is fighting cancer.

Nine-year-old Jamarria Wade is a fourth-grader at Stockwell Elementary School. She was recently featured in local reports about how her classmates and teachers, along with the organization Pay It Forward, are stepping up to help in her fight with cancer.

Firefighters will be grilling hamburger plate lunches for a donation in the amount of your choice. The fundraiser is being held Tuesday, May 20, 2014, beginning at 11 a.m. at the Liberty Garden at the Bossier City Municipal Complex on Benton Rd.
