It's a good thing that the Bossier City Farmers Market is pet-friendly because they're holding a special Easter 'Scramble' this Saturday and you just might see the Easter Bunny! After all, the Easter Bunny made an appearance at the Bossier City Farmers Market Easter Egg Scramble last year;)

Bring the entire family out this Saturday, April 8, 2023, to the Bossier City Farmers Market in the south parking lot of Pierre Bossier Mall from 9 am to 1 pm for their big Easter celebration. They'll be hosting free Easter Egg 'Scrambles' in the large grassy area next to the market at 10 am and 12 pm for the kiddos 10 years of age and younger. Make sure to bring a basket for all their goodies, because there will be tons of 'em! In facts, kids will be able to search for special eggs containing coupons and vouchers from their vendors and friends at Surge Entertainment and Pierre Bossier Mall. The Easter Egg 'Scramble' is sponsored by the Bossier Parish Sheriff's Office and activities on site will include 75+ vendors to browse, giveaways, food trucks, face painting, live music, balloons, and more! Admission and parking are both free and, as mentioned above, this is a pet-friendly event. (FYI, if the grass is too wet, or it's raining, the 'Scrambles' will be moved inside of the mall)

The Bossier City Farmers Market opened for the season last weekend and will be open every Saturday from 9 am - 1 pm through November. To see the constantly updated vendors list, join the Bossier City Farmers Market Facebook page. Some of my favorite stops include the produce stands, Geaux Meals by Gracie, which sells pans of pre-cooked entrees for easy, convenient meal prepping, the homemade dog treat booth, the booth with the street tacos, and there's another one that sells handmade wire jewelry with crystals. I meet some of the best people while strolling with my buddy, Cyrus. So, stop and say hi!
