“Boom” At Goex Minden Heard For Miles Around

Residents of Minden, Haughton, Bossier City and many other communities awoke to a load "boom"  just after 6:15 this morning.  We got an update shortly after the explosion.  Hear the interview:

Bossier Parish Homeland Security Director Sammy Halphen says 1,000 pounds of black powder at GOEX exploded. 5 employees were in the building when the incident occurred. One person was hurt, though the injury is not believed to be life threatening.
