It’s Here Louisiana: A New Summer Flavor from Blue Bell

If you were to ask, I’d have to say the fall is my favorite time of the year, but spring is pretty close.  The warmer weather, longer daylight hours, and a new flavor of Blue Bell Ice Cream!

Hitting the stores today is a nostalgic, delicious, summer favorite.

First of all, there’s no better ice cream in the world than Blue Bell. They took simple Vanilla to a whole new level with nothing but their Blue Bell Homemade Vanilla. Now they’ve introduced a new flavor perfect for summer.  Blue Bell Banana Fudge.

According to BlueBell.com:

“Our new Banana Fudge Ice Cream combines two flavors that complement each other so well,” said Sara Schramm, Blue Bell marketing brand manager. “Chocolate and banana ice creams are popular treats all on their own. But swirl these two in one carton, and you have an incredibly smooth and delicious dessert.”

Blue Bell brought back a combination of their popular frozen Chocolate Fudge Bar, and a frozen banana-sicle.

“We know our fans still crave the frozen snack bars on a stick that featured banana and chocolate,” Schramm added. “We have received requests over the years to return these products to our lineup. We thought, why not shake things up and bring this delicious combination back as an ice cream?”

My only question is, “How has this not been done before?”  The new Blue Bell Banana Fudge is in stores starting today.
