Blanchard Man Arrested for Molestation of a Juvenile

CPSO was called by a family in Blanchard after their child told them every family's worst nightmare.

The teenage child told his parents that a man named Andrew Wiggins, a family friend, had been sexually assaulting him multiple times over a year.

CPSO Detective Gerbine, learned that Wiggins had sex with the child on multiple occasions from the time he was 14, and it continued until the child was 15 years old.

To add to the sickness of this case, Wiggins allegedly threatened to commit suicide if the child told anyone about the assaults.

Wiggins was arrested at his workplace booked in to the Caddo Correctional Center on two counts of Molestation of a Juvenile and one count of Oral Sexual Battery.

If convicted, Wiggins is facing prison time, and will have to register as a sex offender.
