Just days after millions of customers' email addresses were stolen in one of the largest data breaches in U.S. history, the Better Business Bureau reports seeing one of the first Epsilon data breach phishing scams.

Andy Fisher is President of the BBB Servinc Central Louisiana and the Ark-La-Tex.  He says typical phishing scammers pose as reputable companies to fraudulently obtain your personal information so they can steal your identity.  And he says the BBB has already seen some of these emails being sent from a fake 'Chase Bank.'  The BBB offers these tips to avoid being scammed:

Never reply to the email

Son't give out personal or financial information to anyone who contacts you via email

Spread the word to others

Transmitted information should be encrypted

Know the red flags

Protect your computer

Contact the Federal Trade Commission
