The Better Business Bureau is accepting nominations for the 2015 Annual Torch Awards.

The agency recognizes businesses in four categories -- Integrity (practicing integrity in the marketplace), Customer Commitment (businesses that have an outstanding customer service program), Good Neighbor (businesses and their employees that play a significant role in support of local organizations and charities) and Not-for-Profit (non-profit organizations).

Entry forms can be found on the BBB's website. You can also call 318-797-1330, Ext. 108, and someone will email or mail you a nomination form.

The Torch Award Banquet is set for October 29 at East Ridge Country Club in Shreveport. It features a cash bar beginning at 6:30PM, followed by dinner and presentation of awards.

The BBB will also honor the recipients of scholarships for students majoring in business from LSU-S, Centenary College, Southern University-Shreveport, Bossier Parish Community College, Northwestern State Universith-Natchitoches, and Louisiana Tech University-Ruston.

The featured speaker at the banquet is Major General Richard M. Clark from Barksdale Air Force Base.
