The possibility of rain may have kept some of our usual drivers away, but we still had 38 drivers turn out today for the fourth Red River Region, SCCA (Sports Car Club of America), autocross event of 2014.

Those 38 drivers were treated to a very challenging and very long (almost 90-second) course on the Coleman Street parking lot in Bossier City.  The rain held off until just minutes after we had finished picking up and packing away all of our gear.  Then the bottom fell out and those of us who were still on the site got thoroughly drenched before we had time to get to our rain gear.

If you feel up to it, hop in; put on your helmet; and cinch down your seat belt good and tight. Then hang on for dear life as you take a ride with me in the Mighty '65 Austin Mini -- http://youtu.be/-DPY2xnsdtU

Our next SCCA Autocross event will be on Sunday, June 29th.  You have a standing invitation from me to come out and see what the SCCA is all about or, if you should so desire, to enter the event yourself and see how well you can really drive.
