Attack at Shreveport Bus Station Leads to Battery Arrest
SHREVEPORT, LA- Incident at Bus Station Leads to Arrest
On June 26 at approximately 7:45 PM, Shreveport Police Officers responded to a call in the 1200 block of Murphy Street at the SporTran Terminal in reference to a assault that had just occurred. Upon arrival, officers found a man lying unconscious on the ground, bleeding from the head.
Officers quickly took 33-year-old Albert Wright into custody for his involvement in the incident. Wright has been charged with one count of second-degree battery and one count of possession of a Schedule II narcotic. He was also found to have outstanding warrants from other jurisdictions.
The victim in this case is expected to recover.
Suspects are innocent until proven guilty.
