One Suspect Arrested and One Wanted in Shreveport Homicide

The Shreveport Police Violent Crimes Detectives have made significant progress in the investigation of the tragic incident that occurred on February 15th, 2024, in the 4300 block of Lakeshore Drive.

On February 22nd, 2024, Shreveport Police Violent Crimes Detectives arrested 21-year-old Jadavion Cooper in connection with the homicide. Cooper has been charged with one count of second-degree murder for his alleged involvement in the aforementioned incident.

Despite this arrest, our investigation is ongoing. Detectives have identified 19-year-old Dequavion Pouncy as another individual believed to be involved in the act of violence. A warrant for Pouncy's arrest has been issued, charging him with second-degree murder.
