Shreveport police are looking for a suspect in an overnight shooting that left a local woman hospitalized.

Just before 1 a.m., officers were called to the 2300 block of Marion Street to a report of a shooting. There, they found 31-year-old Demonica Chapman suffering from a gunshot wound to the leg. She was taken to University Health for treatment of a non-life-threatening wound.
