At least one person has been wounded in a shooting at a Southwest Arkansas school. It happened in Nevada County Monday morning.

According to Prescott Police Chief Joey Beavers tells KSLA it happened at a Prescott school and involved two students. Chief Beavers says the Prescott school is secure at this time.

 

Arkansas State Police are helping local agencies investigate this shooting.

Other schools in the area were also put on lockdown during this emergency in Prescott.
Classes have now resumed at the schools and the emergency situation is over.
