Shreveport police have arrested a second Shreveport firefighter in connection with an ongoing investigation into alleged criminal activity at the fire station on Velva Street.

Last week, detectives arrested veteran firefighter Derrick Harris.  Today, they arrested 26-year-old Clint Richarson, who's been with the department for four years.  Both men face charges of cruelty to the infirm and principal to prostitution.  Richardson was booked into the Shreveport City Jail today -- his bond set at $105,000.  Detectives say their investigation is continuing and additional arrests may be forthcoming.

Following his arrest, Richardson was placed on paid administrative leave by Fire Chief Craig Mulford.
