Alice Cooper Is Coming To Shreveport For Geek’d Con
It's so exciting to have Shreveport's comic con, Geek'd Con, back on the schedule for 2021. We had to unfortunately miss the 2020 show due to the COVID pandemic restrictions around the state. But the show is back on for 2021, with a return set for August 13th-15th at the Shreveport Convention Center.
Before the pandemic, Geek'd Con had become one of the biggest pop culture events in the region. With guests like Michael Rooker, LeVar Burton, Elvira, Peter Mayhew, Chris Sarandon, and more.
Now Geek'd Con is coming back in 2021, and tickets are going on sale this week.
The who is coming back with a vengeance. Let's welcome ourselves to his nightmare... Alice Cooper is coming to Shreveport this year for Geek'd Con!
With a career that spans more than 50 years, what has Alice Cooper not done? He's a Rock and Roll Hall of Fame member. Rolling Stone called him the most "beloved heavy metal entertainer" of all time.
But it's not just music. He's a horror culture icon...He's appeared in a ton of movies, playing Freddy Krueger's stepfather, with John Carpenter in Prince of Darkness, and also contributing the theme for Jason Voorhees in Jason Lives, "The Man Behind The Mask".
He has been in the Simpsons, made his comic book debut in Marvel Presents, and was named by VH1 as one of the 100 Greatest Artists of Hard Rock.
