A gunfight among members of the three Texas motorcycle gangs erupted in a Waco restaurant Sunday afternoon, leaving nine dead and 16 injured.

The fight began with fists, chains and knives inside the Twin Peaks restaurant, then spilled into the parking lot where the gunfire started. State troopers, sheriff's deputies and local police quickly arrived on the scene and gang members found themselves battling law enforcement as well as each other.

Twin Peaks employees and patrons locked themselves in the restaurants walk-in freezer to escape the chaos.

Police said that more than 100 weapons were recovered from the scene. No law officers or civilians were injured in the melee.
