SHREVEPORT, LA-   Shreveport Police Arrest Woman in Assault and Battery Incident

The Shreveport Police Department has arrested 19-year-old Vanessa Sheppard in connection with an assault and battery incident that occurred on August 20th in the 9000 block of Walker Road. Officers responded to reports of the incident at approximately 9:45 a.m.

Sheppard has been charged with one count of 2nd-degree battery. Fortunately, the victim is expected to make a full recovery.
