Rangers starting pitcher Yu Darvish has given up a bunch of runs lately, including tonight.

Should Rangers fans be concerned?

Even though Yu Darvish was credited with a ‘no decision’ in his last start versus the Rangers’ foes, the LA Angels of Anaheim, he was credited with 7 earned runs!

Tonight, his performance wasn’t any better, giving up 6 earned runs tonight against the Red Sox.

After a 2nd inning single by the Rangers’ David Murphy to send home Nelson Cruz, the wheels soon began to fall off the track for Darvish.

In the bottom of the 3rd, things started getting real. Red Sox outfielder Carl Crawford doubled to right, sending home Jacoby Ellsbury. Then Sox first baseman Adrian Gonzalez also doubled sending home Carl Crawford. That made the score 2-1.

The very next inning, Jacoby Ellsbury doubled to deep left, sending home a runner. The next batter Carl Crawford brought in a run, via a sac fly to center. Then Dustin Pedroia also hit a double! After this inning, the score was 5-1 in favor of the Sox.

Tab another run to Gonzalez, as he brings in another run in the 7th.

Believe it or not, another double for Carl Crawford in this game, hitting his second and bringing home his third run of the game. Next batter, Cody Ross hit a sac fly to bring home a run. After this mess, the score was 9-1.

Following a late homer by Adrian Beltre, the Sox shut the Rangers down in order to end this game. The final score is 9-2.

Yu Darvish drops to 11-8, giving up a total of 13 runs his last two starts! Should Rangers nation be concerned?
