This is a special week for some area veterans.Tomorrow morning at six, twenty-seven World War II veterans and representatives from Brookshire Grocery Company will be leaving Shreveport Regional Airport. Their destination -- Washington D.C. -- and visits to the WWII Memorial, the Iwo Jima Memorial, Arlington National Cemetery, the U-S Capitol, and other historic sites. This marks the third WWII Heroes Flight paid for by Brookshire's and Super-1 Foods as a way of saying "Thank You" for the service these veterans provided our country. The public is invited to help send them off tomorrow morning and welcome them back when they return a 7 o'clock Thursday evening.
