Woman Shot Dead, Found In Bedroom Last Night, Suspect Sought

 

At approximately 9:49 p.m. on August 3, 2011 Shreveport Police patrol officers were dispatched to a home in the 7500 block of Wyngate Boulevard relative to a welfare concern call. Dispatchers received a call from an unknown subject stating that someone had been shot there and, upon arrival, patrolmen contacted a man outside of the residence who told them a woman had been shot in the house. The officers observed what they believed to be blood stains on the carport door and subsequently forced their way into the residence where they located an adult female in a bedroom suffering from what appeared to be at least one gunshot wound to the upper body. The victim was pronounced deceased at the scene.

 

Detectives and crime scene investigators were immediately dispatched and are working at this hour to identify and apprehend the person or persons responsible for this murder.
